NEMESIS
What kind of creature is this? A Horse, a bird, and a tiger.
What is its species? griffin
What do you think this creature eats? What it kills
Where does it live? In caves
Do they live alone or in groups? Both
The Nemesis
As I yawn my final yawn I say “I am going to bed”. I wonder about a strange animal that comes into my mind. I don’t know if it’s real or fake. I ask my Mum and Dad what it could be.
All they said was “Tell me what it looks like”.
“It’s white with wings - kind of like a horse, also it’s tall and it has a face and feet like a bird, that’s all I can remember”.
My mum and dad said, “Sorry, we don’t know, but let's call it Nemesis”. I slowly stumble up the stairs to my room and hope what I saw was real. I close my eyes. “I could sleep”, I said to myself. Once I fell asleep the dream I had felt REAL REAL real real real. As my mind goes deeper and deeper into the dream I was riding the nemesis around my town and picking up my best friend. But then my little brother woke me up in the best part.
That morning I talked about my dream nonstop. “BLA BLA this BLA BLA that”. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, my little brother shouted
“STOP TALKING ABOUT YOUR STUPID NEMESIS!”
“No, I can if I want to. Now be quiet”
“Fine,” he said. He stormed off to his room. Ok, Ok. Where was I?
(BANG) BROTHER! DON'T SLAM YOUR DOOR. It went quiet for 5 minutes, then I started up talking again. When I stopped there was a little voice coming from the door. I walked to the door to see who it was.
“Hello? Whos there?”
I could not see anyone there. I looked up, then down. When I looked down there was a little man standing there looking up at me. “Hi, are you Clover Phoenix?”
“Yes”
I said.
“Why?”
“ You have a mission”
“A WHAT?”
“A mission.”
“OK... why”
“There are these animals that are in danger. Their island is sinking”
“Why me?”
“No one else believes me! I heard you talking about the Nemesis and I knew that you have a strong sense of imagination”
“Ok... I’ll do it. What do I get for it?”
“One of them as a pet”
“REALLY?”
“Yes”
“I’m doing it. When are we going?”
“You need a crow to help you. Ok?”
“Ok. I’ll make sure I will.”
“Here’s a map. Go when you can you have 3 weeks or sooner. Get going”
“Ok... Will I see you again?”
“Yes, once you have finished saving them”
“Ok… uh... see you later...”
“OK!”

As she walked out of the door and ran down the street to her friends house her mum and dad sat at home thinking about what she was up to. Knock Knock she banged on the door.
“ Hello who there”
“Your best friend we are going to mystery islands grab your things then we are on our way.”
“ OK coming”
Bye, the way they are both 16 years old. They both ran back to clovers house together. They talked the whole way there.
“ We are back let's go”
“OK we are coming it is our fault if we did you know”
“Yes we know”

After buying their flights to go to Banswada to hope on a boat to go there. WAIT THEY FORGOT THERE LITTLE BROTHER!!!!!!!! DUN DUN DUN
When they were on the long plane trip, their grandma went over to there house to see them but all she found the little boy all by himself. On the plane all I could think about was my little brother sitting alone at home, the place could get robbed and he would be gone FOREVER. I screamed on the plane everyone looked at me and said are u ok my mind went mad then I fainted. I work up in a hospital I did not know what was going on. “Hello anyone there HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO” No one came to see me, I got up and look out of the window it was pitch black no stars no nother my light was on thow. All of a sounded the mystical creature was behind me. It grabbed me to throw me on it back and took out out the window. I did not know that was going on. I look at my watch but I WAS UNCONSCIOUS FOR 3 WEEKS NOT 3 DAYS. The animal took me far far away to the island we were meant to be going I got dropped and I landed on a trampoline. What a trampoline here in this place. My mum jumped down and said we saved them all they are actually a griffin, so I did nothing to help I was soooo Sad that I could not help but at least I got to keep a baby Griffin YAY,

Camp Recount

Click went Georgia’s camera as we pulled up to start camp. We all hopped off the bus and walked to the back of the bus to get gear. I grabbed my bag after it felt like 30 mins but it was not. We took our bags and put them into the instructor's van so we did not have to carry them across the water. Well, we had to walk along the beach and we did not get a ride.
The instructors came out to see us. There were 4 or 5 and each group got 3 instructors. Our group got ED Yie and someone else I forgot their names sorry. Since they did not know us we all said in a circle what our name was. But we had to say an animal that starts with the first letter of our names, I said Siobhan the snake.
Finley after everyone said their names we went off walking. We walked and talked for about 10 to 40 minters. My self and my friends Kayla and Marnie talked about child names most of the way. Once we got to where we were playing a game. It was about 1 quarter of the way.
We played chain tag I was the 18th one to get tagged. I was tagged by Sienna and Olive. We played that game for about 10 minutes then we played Yoshi, which is a very fun game. We did boys VS girls how you play, there is a line in the middle of the area of where you are playing. You have a base on each side. If you cross the line in the middle that team on that side can tag you. If you get tagged you stand still until one of your teammates come and take you then you have a safe walk back to your side. The aim of the game is to get your whole team on the other team.
After playing that for a long time we set off walking again. Our job was to pick up rubbish on the beach. I could not find anything. After it felt like 30000 hours walking down the beach. WE GOT TO STOP AND EAT YAYYYY. I ate my donut, then we carried on walking.
We stopped again to light a fire. We got split into 4 or 5 teams. We tried to light the fire but it did not work. We tried and tried it finally worked. Straight after it was on fire we had to put it out. REALLY I THOUGHT. Then it was time to make these things. I forgot the name of them. We put a bit too much brown sugar. My group did not have time to cook our things. So I kinda ate some of mine raw. It was still good. I did not eat it all another wise I would get sick.
Once we finished our things we walked for another 10 minutes and went swimming in a river that goes to the sea. I got changed slowly so by the time I got into the water the running race was over. But then we played tag in the water. It was lots of fun. I put my hand and held my nose and took a big breath and went under the water to see what it looked like. All I could see was sand and 10 rocks. There were not many rocks where we were swimming.
After a bit of swimming, we played tug of war. The girls won the first two then the boys won the last one. After playing the game for a bit the adults came in and we did kids vs adults. Of course, the adults won. We got back into our dry clothes and we keep walking. We did a hut building competition. All the teams won. Then we keep walking and finally got to the camp.
It was nothing I thought it was going to look. We slept under a fly. Flys are just like tarpaulins but bigger. There was also one on the ground so you did not get wet. I was in the fly with Georgia, Clare, Tegen, Sienna, Makaia and me of course.
That night we cooked our own dinner we made spaghetti bolognese. After dinner, we played spotlight and did a night line. They were both fun. After that, we went to bed. I could not get to sleep though because people were talking all night.
“WAKEEEE UPPPP TIMEEE IT IS 6:30 GETTTTTT UPPPPPP”
We all slowly got up and got ready. We had to do this worm up. It did not wake me UPPPPPPP. After that, we had our breakfast. WE HAD PORRIDGE.. I DISLIKE THE PORRIDGE THAT THEY HAD.
After all of that hours of eating portage it was the one and only Ocean Olympics. Well it was not the real one it was a kid type. Your team had to collect five tokens to cross the line. I WAS THE ONE WHO LOOKED AFTER THE TOKENS. Ok ok, calm down me. The five games we played where guess the path, egg toss, pass the hula hoop, tarpon thing and a tennis ball one. It took me about 10 minutes to remember what we did.
After we crossed the line and all the teams crossed the line we played rob the nest. To see what team won, we got 59 or 62 in our nest because we buried some of the eggs. Well all of them. ( Umm the eggs where rocks dar me)
After we finished all of them it was lunchtime. We made our wraps then sat around the trophy full and surrounded by fruit bursts. The 3 groups were J1. J2 and J3. I am in J1. They said in 3 please we have J3 in 2 we had J2 and in first please we had J1. Was that meant to happen like that I do not know but YAYYYYY we won. Our class was so HAPPY?
After we did the 1-hour walk back to the bus. And went back to school. The next day I did not go to school because I was too tired. So I did not get the fruit burst.
