FOOD-Term 3

I really enjoyed food this term I have lernt alot of things i can cook and share them at home with family and friends. Some of my favourite where the popcorn chicken and the pav. I am going to also do food next year but a diffrent term to try new things.

Hey I am Siobhan From Westland high school. Some things I am intrested in are: Art, sewing and sports. I do netball and athletics I play netball for the school and i Go do colgate games for althletics

Textiles

For the last few weeks we have started makeing hoodies of our design some have hoods some dont. I havce done mine with a hood. First we started cutting out fabric and orgniceing how we are going to sow it together then we started sowing on the frount and back to the sleaves and carryed on Each hour we got more and more done.

Sewing

Date: 9. June 2021 I have been making the hood for my hoodie. I have been using a sewing messine. Using some great thread. We have been making hoodies for textiles. And because I enjoy sewing. I have been really proud of myself and I love how it is turning out. I am also loving the class. This week I am going to be making the cuffs and the lower band. Also sewing sleeves and side seams.
